How is the application submitted?

The person or their legal representative applies directly to the “Inson” center or fills out an electronic questionnaire via the “Ijtimoiy Himoya” Information System.

Where is the day-care service provided?

It is provided within the quotas set by the Agency, specifically to persons residing in the province (city) where the Centers are located.

What is the designated duration of the service?

Social and rehabilitation services in the form of day-care attendance are provided for a period of up to one month (Clause 3).

Who can access paid services in the form of day-care attendance?

Elderly persons and persons with disabilities who have first-degree relatives obligated to provide care (on a contractual basis).

What is the timeframe for service provision (reviewing applications)?

Reviewing the application, assessing the person’s needs, and making a decision are designated to be completed within 7 working days.

What is the legal basis for this service?

Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 316, dated May 31, 2024.

When is the act canceled?

If one of the individuals passes away, if the person in need of care gets married, or if it is discovered that care is not actually being provided (Clauses 22-23).

Who assesses the needs of the elderly?

For elderly persons aged 80 and over, the level of need is assessed by an “Inson” center employee using the Barthel and Lawton scales (Clause 7).

In what cases is the creation of the act denied?

If the information is incorrect, if the person in need of care does not consent, or if they are placed in boarding houses (Muruvvat/Saxovat) (Clause 17).

At Public Service Centers (DXM), through “Inson” center staff, or online via the Single Interactive State Services Portal (my.gov.uz) (Clause 8).
