Is there a fee for the service?

No, there is no fee charged for providing this state service (Clause 9).

For how long is the act issued?

The act is issued for a period of 12 months. Monitoring is conducted every 6 months (Clause 6).

For whom must care be provided to receive this service?

1. For a person with a Group I disability.
2. For a child with a disability under the age of 18.
3. For elderly persons aged 80 or older who are in need of care by others (Clause 1).

Why is this act necessary?

Electronic data regarding the actual provision of care serves as the basis for including that period into the caregiver’s work experience when calculating a pension (Clause 3).

What is the timeframe for issuing the act?

The authorized body (“Inson” center) issues the act following an on-site visit within 5 working days from the date of the request (Clause 16).

What is the legal basis for this service?

Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 318, dated May 31, 2024.

What if the service is poorly performed or denied?

The director of the “Inson” center and the Social Inspection monitor the implementation of these regulations. In case of dissatisfaction, a complaint can be filed in court.

Where are the results of the service recorded?

Information about all conducted sanitary measures is entered by the responsible parties into the “Ijtimoiy Himoya” Information System.

Under what conditions is this service provided?

1. Based on the request of the person or their representative.
2. If the necessity of conducting this measure is indicated in the Individual Social Services Plan.

Which organization is responsible for providing the service?

District (city) departments of Sanitary-Epidemiological Well-being and Public Health perform the work based on the request from the “Inson” center.
