Whom to contact for the service?

The person or their legal representative only needs to contact the mahalla social worker or the “Inson” social services center.

What exactly is done within the scope of the service?

Disinfection (antimicrobial) and disinfestation (pest control) works are carried out free of charge at the place of residence of the person in need of care.

What is the timeframe for conducting sanitary measures?

Disinfection and disinfestation activities are designated to be carried out within 5 working days after the request is received.

What is the legal basis for this service?

Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 123, dated March 11, 2024.

How often is the need for communication and leisure re-evaluated?

During the monitoring process conducted every 6 months, the person’s social activity and level of satisfaction with the services are re-assessed (Clause 36).

Is the use of leisure services mandatory?

No. According to Clause 47, a person has the right to refuse any service defined in the individual plan, including cultural or communication services.

Is this type of service included in the Individual Plan?

Yes. According to Clause 27, measures to increase the social activity of a person in need of care are an integral part of the approved individual social services plan.

Who is involved in organizing cultural events?

Pursuant to Clause 27, volunteers, persons wishing to provide guardianship and sponsorship, and mahalla activists may be involved in this process.

How is a person’s need for cultural leisure identified?

According to Clauses 14 and 21, the multidisciplinary group specifically assesses the person’s communication with relatives and friends, as well as their need for leisure services.

How is the concept of “Cultural Event” expressed in the Regulation?

In the text, it is interpreted as activities for the “need for communication and leisure services” (Clause 21) and “increasing social activity in daily life” (Clause 27).
