Welfare Category: Victims of harassment and violence

Resolution No. 354 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 25, 2024 (Paragraph 5 of the Resolution, sub-paragraph “j” of paragraph 9, and paragraph 30 of the Administrative Regulation).

Within one working day, the application and preferences are studied, and a referral is processed within the framework of the individual social rehabilitation program based on the results of the initial assessment.

• In the form of a day clinic (day visit): Living at home and attending training using the referral issued by the center;

• In a residential (shelter) form: Being directed to training during the period of temporary residence at a rehabilitation center (shelter).

Most important convenience: During the period when women are undergoing vocational training or being provided with employment, a special additional caregiver is allocated and assigned to look after their minor children.

Within the scope of this service, women are provided with a referral for free training through state programs at regional Monocenters and vocational training centers.

Women who have suffered from harassment and violence, who have attempted suicide or have suicidal tendencies, and who have expressed a desire to learn a profession.

• By contacting the “Inson” social services center in your region;

• By contacting the social worker operating in your mahalla;

• Through regional centers for the rehabilitation and adaptation of women (shelters).
