How often is monitoring conducted?

Individuals in the Registry undergo a reassessment (monitoring) at least once every 6 months.

When is a person removed from the Registry?

Upon voluntary withdrawal, the appearance of a caregiver, the cancellation of a disability group, or when traveling abroad for more than 1 month.

What is an Individual Social Services Plan?

A special assistance plan created after the status is granted, including medical check-ups, free medication, housing adaptation, and legal and social support.

How does the “Points” system work?

In the assessment, scoring 116 points or higher is a basis for denying the status of being in need. The lower the score, the higher the degree of need is considered to be.

Who evaluates the living conditions?

A multidisciplinary group consisting of an “Inson” center employee, a family doctor, and the Mahalla chairperson. They evaluate health, financial status, and social activity.

What is the “Offer” and why is it necessary?

It is the person’s official consent (agreement) to allow an evaluation of their living conditions. A social worker provides this within 24 hours after the application is made.

How can an application be submitted?

Through a social worker (during door-to-door visits), directly at the “Inson” center, or electronically through the “Ijtimoiy Himoya” Information System.

Who is recognized as a person in need of care?

1. Single elderly and persons with disabilities: Those who have no close relatives (children, parents, spouse) to provide care.

2. Single-living elderly and persons with disabilities: Those who have relatives, but they live separately, or their relatives are undergoing long-term treatment or are imprisoned.

What is the processing time for the service?

All evaluations and the final decision-making are completed within 5 working days from the date of application.

What is the legal basis for this service?

The Administrative Regulations approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 123, dated March 11, 2024.
