The Social Card is both a bank card and an ID. It can also be used as a transport card, disability certificate, student ID. On top of that, it shows if someone belongs to one or more socially vulnerable groups in need of support.
You can quickly and easily apply for a Social Card through the Baraka mobile app. Just open the app and tap the “Order a Card” button. Follow the step-by-step instructions to submit your application.
Alternatively, you can apply for a Baraka card by visiting your city or district INSON social services center, through your local social worker, or at branches of Xalq Bank and Aloqabank.
There are three ways to reissue a card:
1. Through the mobile app (for citizens)
2. Through the Agent app at “Inson” centers
3. Through financial agents (banks)
1: Using the mobile app
Go to the app’s Home screen, then select My Cards.
Tap the Reissue Card button. Next, press Continue and pay 40,000 UZS for the social card reissue. The payment is made via the Paynet system using a six-digit code generated in the Baraka app.
2: Through “Inson” centers
Citizens can visit an “Inson” center to request a card reissue. The operator can reissue the card using the Agent app on a tablet. You will need your PINFL and the phone number linked to the card. The operator logs in using the SMS code sent to the number provided during the first card registration and follows all the steps required to submit the reissue request.
3: Through bank branches (starting from December 10, 2025)
Citizens can visit a bank branch to request a card reissue. You will need your PINFL, phone number, and ID. Bank staff use the Baraka web app to process the request and reissue the card.
The old card will be deactivated, but the balance remains intact. The new social card will be linked to the same account, and you can continue using the funds as before.
Answer: Every citizen is eligible to receive a Social Card. By default, an electronic Social Card is issued and activated for use. If desired, a physical Social Card in the form of a bank card can also be requested.
Yes. Social Cards are issued to citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan for a period of 5 years.
Stateless persons who are permanently registered in Uzbekistan may also receive a Social Card, valid for a period that does not exceed the validity of their ID card, national passport, or stateless person ID.
A digital social card is issued within one business day. Issuance of physical card may take up to 5 business days. You’ll receive a notification when it’s ready.
