Is there a fee for the service?

No, “Mother’s Home” services are provided by the state completely free of charge (Clause 2 of the Resolution).

What kind of assistance is provided in the “Mother’s Home”?

Provision of shelter, food, medical care, psychological support, and social integration of the mother through vocational training.

How long can one live in the “Mother’s Home”?

Until the social situation of the woman and child improves (usually from 6 months to 1 year); however, this period is determined based on an individual development plan.

Where should one apply for placement?

To the district (city) “Inson” social services center or online via the Single Portal (my.gov.uz).

Who can be placed in the “Mother’s Home”?

Pregnant women in difficult social circumstances, and mothers with children under 3 years old who have no place to live or have been victims of domestic violence.

What is the timeframe for the placement decision?

After the woman or her relatives apply, the situation is assessed, and the issuance of a referral is decided within one working day.
