New Rates Set for Card-to-Card Transfers in the Baraka App

New rates for card-to-card (P2P) transfers have come into effect in the Baraka mobile app. The updated system allows app users to make transfers commission-free or at reduced rates.

Transfer directions and current commission rates:

• From a Baraka card to a Baraka card: 0% (commission-free)
• From a Baraka card to Uzcard or Humo cards: 0.7%
• From Uzcard or Humo cards to Baraka, Uzcard, or Humo cards: 0.9%

Through the Baraka app, money can be transferred between Uzcard, Humo, and Baraka payment cards in several directions.

Only transfers between Baraka cards issued by different issuing banks are currently unavailable:

• Baraka (Xalq Bank) → Baraka (Aloqabank)
• Baraka (Aloqabank) → Baraka (Xalq Bank)

Technical work on this interbank transfer feature is underway, and it will be activated in the app soon. Meanwhile, transfers between Baraka cards issued by the same bank continue to work seamlessly with 0% commission.

1. Download the Baraka app to your mobile device or update your current version.
2. Go to the “Transfers” section of the app and enter the sender and recipient card details.
3. Enter the amount and confirm the transaction. The commission amount is displayed on the screen before the transfer is confirmed.
