Who is eligible to get a Social Card for free?

It is natural to wonder whether you have to pay for the Baraka social card or if you can get it for free. The price of the card is 40,000 UZS. However, you can get the card without paying any money. To do this, you only need to be one of the 15 categories of individuals approved by legislative acts. So, who are the persons to whom the social card is issued and provided for use free of charge?

They are as follows:

1. Persons included in the register of poor families
2. Families recognized as low-income through the “Single Social Protection Register” information system
3. Members of large families
4. Persons with disabilities
5. Single and elderly persons living alone who are in need of others’ care
6. Persons engaged in caring for individuals in need of outside care
7. Orphans and children left without parental care
8. Guardians (trustees), foster parents
9. Incapacitated persons
10. Persons with limited legal capacity
11. Legal representatives of incapacitated persons and persons with limited legal capacity
12. Pensioners
13. Students receiving scholarships from state budget funds
14. Pupils (trainees) receiving scholarships from state budget funds
15. Persons entitled to free use of urban passenger transport (except for taxis).

In which cases do members of these 15 categories also have to pay for the card?
If the card is lost or becomes unusable before its expiration date, individuals belonging to the 15 categories must also pay a fee to reissue the card.
