Which authorities restore the documents?

Internal affairs bodies (for passports/ID cards) and Justice departments (for birth certificates, etc.) handle this based on a request from the “Inson” center.

Is there a fee for restoring documents?

No. According to Clause 44, state duty is not charged for the restoration of passports or ID cards.

What is the legal basis for the service?

The Administrative Regulations approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 123, dated March 11, 2024.

Is it possible to leave the Center early?

Yes. Based on the application of the person themselves or their close relatives, an order for discharge from the Center is issued (Clauses 67, 68).

Is the service paid or free of charge?

Paid on a contractual basis for those with relatives; free of charge for single individuals in need of social protection (specified categories in Clause 3).

What is the advantage of short-term placement?

While living at the Center, the person receives intensive rehabilitation, professional care, and socio-occupational therapy (Clauses 46, 57).

Who is placed for a permanent (unlimited) period?

Single elderly persons and persons with disabilities who have no close relatives to provide care and no real estate in their own name (Clause 3, sub-clause “a”).

What is the maximum duration for long-term services?

For individuals receiving services on a paid basis in an inpatient form, the duration is set for up to one year (Clause 3).

Who are short-term and long-term services for?

For individuals who have relatives obligated to provide care, but who wish to live and receive treatment (e.g., for rehabilitation) at the Center for a certain period.

What is the timeframe for organizing the service (decision-making)?

Reviewing the application and making a decision regarding placement in the Center are completed within 7 working days.
