How to Register on the Baraka App

To start using the Baraka App, you first need to register as a new user. The process is quick and intuitive, and this guide will walk you through each step – from launching the app to successfully creating your account.

Depending on your preference, you can register using your document ID or your personal identification number (PINFL).

Make sure you have your valid documents and phone nearby to complete the process smoothly.

1. Launch and Language and Registration Method Selection

• Open the Baraka app.

• On the welcome screen, choose your preferred language from the dropdown at the top.

• Tap Sign Up to begin the registration process. If you already have an account, tap Log In instead.

2. Choose Registration Method

• • You can register using either:

    • PINFL: Personal Identification Number.
    • Document: Scan or manually enter document details.

  • Select the method you prefer to proceed.

3. Registration via PINFL

• • Enter your PINFL number, mobile number, date of birth, and email address.

  • Tap Proceed to continue.

4. Registration via Document

• Tap to scan your document, or enter the details manually:

  • Document type
  • Document number
  • Date of birth
  • Mobile number
  • Email address

• Tap Proceed to continue.

5. OTP Verification & Address Entry

• Enter the 4-digit OTP code sent to your mobile number.

• Once verified, fill in the required personal information:

  • Nationality
  • Full residential address

• Tap Save to continue.

6. Accept Terms and Conditions

• Read and accept the following three items:

  • Privacy Policy
  • Public Offer Agreement
  • Terms & Conditions

• Make sure all boxes are checked.

• Tap Proceed to continue.

7. Biometric Profile Setup

• Tap Start to begin your biometric registration.

• Follow the on-screen prompts to scan your face in 5 angles: front, up, down, left, and right.

• Make sure your face is clearly visible and well lit.

• When your biometric profile is successfully added, tap Next.

8. Create Password and PIN

• Create a password that meets the required criteria:
  • • Minimum 8 characters
    • At least 1 uppercase letter
    • At least 1 special character
    • Passwords must match

  • Create a 4-digit PIN for fast and secure app login.

  • Tap Next to continue.

9. Final Profile Review & Signature

• Carefully review your full application.

• If needed and where applicable, tap Edit to make corrections.

• Sign the form using your finger or stylus.

• Tap Finalize to complete the process.

10. Confirmation & Virtual Card Setup

• Once finalized, your profile creation will begin.

• You may see a “Profile Processing” message – this is normal and may take a few minutes.

• Once complete, tap Home to access your Wallet.

11. Virtual Social Card

• A request for your social card is sent automatically to the bank.

• Please wait a few minutes (typically 5–10 min) for the virtual card to appear.

• If your card does not appear or the request fails, tap Issue new card to retry.

• Once approved, your virtual card will be displayed in the app and ready to use.
